It is Nov 4th today, and the PKR things are hot.. My reading is Dr Jeffrey Kitingan will quit PKR in days time. His men and women are already toying with the idea of forming a new party or taking over a dormant but still registered party... While it is not easy to register one previously, now it may be a lot easier, especially if this act will disunite the Opposition - meaning to say to give advantage to the ruling Barisan Nasional. I, Jeneral Ken, is of the opinion that Dr Jeffrey group should work together with SAPP especially on most of the Chinese seats, save one or two for Christina Liew who is said will be in the new party.. Ive heard of few possible names of the new party -- One Nation Party (Parti Satu Negara) and Love Sabah Party (Parti Cinta Sabah)... - Jeneral Ken

Dear friends, what do you think if groups of Dayaks, the Kadazans, Dusuns and Muruts unite under one political party ? Say under Star, because we don't have much good alternative right now... I've written to Dr Patau Rubis, the current President of Star from Sarawak, and am waiting if he is willing to amend his party's constitution to allow Star spread its wing to Sabah... Hehe. Jen Ken

News Blackout?? Just where is Sabah CM Musa Aman, people are asking me this for the past day... Rumours (i don't want to believe in it) have it that our CM is hospitalised in Mount Elizabeth Hospital? in Singapore for stroke... But how come we don't know, i don't have an inkling, only that some officials say Sabah CM is unwell. This rumours does not help anyone.. But where is he? How come no statement from the CMD? Well about two weeks ago i learned from a friend in Sarawak that Sarawak DCM Alfred Jabu was admitted to IJN for heart problem, but there was also a news blackout of it... Looks like the current governments start emulating North Korea by being so secretive on their top leaders health condition.... (June 11, 2009)

Mmm.. Dr Maximus Ongkili, a staunch SIB - PBS leader, has found himself in hot soup. Blogs are discussing his so-called "extra-liaisons" with a frequent companion"cousin" by the name of Betsy Emoi from Tuaran. When i highlighted this to the Minister, this was his sms explanation to me: "Jahatlah political enemies. Semua palsu. We know d person, ex golfer friend. Dia failed 2 get grant from MOSTI n turned enemy. Pix was with 10 others inlc Sabah golfer friends. Tati (Betsy) is niece of Datin Margaret of late Datuk James (Ongkili his elder brother). After the Perak issue, the rumours mill has it that the Pakatan Rakyat Assemblyman for Selambau , Kedah was threatened by the power-that-be to be exposed over a so-called private scandal ! The poor YB is said to have been offered an escape exit but first he must cross over to Barisan Nasional! YB Arumugam however refused the offer and instead chosed to vacate his state exco post and assemblyman seat! paving for a by-election...

PKR Advisor, Anwar Ibrahim will be in Kota Kinabalu 22nd & 23rd January 2009. He would meet PKR leaders and members, community leaders, NGOs and businessmen either at Sutera Harbor or Airport View Hotel. Btw PAS' sweet victory (majority of 2,631 votes) yesterday in the Kuala Trengganu by-election, should serve as another warning to the ruling UMNO-Barisan Nasional of their waning popularity among the Malay electorates. BN's lose is a bad omen to UMNO and Najib Razak...

The appointment of Anwar Ibrahim as both Sabah's and Sarawak's PKR state liaison chairman (PPN), is met with mix reactions within the Party in the Borneon states... But here is how Dr Jeffrey's official reaction (December 29) reads: Since DSAI is also our Ketua Umum, it is a privilege for Sabah to have him as our PPN. I would have objected if it was just any other leader. This means we, in Sabah, can discuss and have direct access to the head of the National Opposition who is also the Prime Minister- in-waiting! I view this as something positive. In other words Sabah's and Sarawak's status have been upgraded! Isn't this what we have been looking for? Of course in the long term we will assist him to ease his burden by proposing an alternative to PPN appointment for the Borneo States.

Wei, wei it is Christmas time but how come Malaysian TV and Radio lack Christmas programme oh?? This is discrimination! Why only X'mas cartoons and irrelevant movies in the TV? What the heck is goin on in Malaysia, such a mess country we have turned into.... (three days to X'mas).

According Dr Jeffrey Kitingan today (Dec 16), his Borneo Heritage Foundation (formerly KDI) will hold International Constitutional Convention in KK in the early months of next year (2009). The convention aims among others to discuss laws and constitutions that have rendered East Malaysia less progressive and robust than they should have been, and to reexamine how and where to improve, constitutionally speaking... Please expect very good speakers, he said. Interesting convention...

SAPP's Yong Teck Lee is on the onslaught. He is criss-crossing Sabah to explain his pulling-out of BN. A friend of mine, Jimmy Jawatah who is the PKR Head for Tenom Division has confirmed quitting the KL-based Party for the Sabah-based SAPP. When i sms him today (Dec 8, 2008) congratulating him, he replied, "Tq. Gundohing ko bila lagi mau masuk?" which indicated he is indeed leaving Anwar's Party for SAPP, where err Jimmy's bro-in-law Frankie Chong is a senior member...

The much awaited tabling of an amendment to PKR Constitution at PKR Congress weekend, which would allow Sabah and Sarawak delegates to elect their respective State Liaison Chairman (and not appointed by KL-based President), never took place. Everything was prearranged to deter the tabling as Anwar Ibrahim himself does not favour such amendment. He did promise Dr Jeffrey Kitingan on the sideline of last year's Congress in Seremban that the amendment is to be done this year (2008)... It seems PKR national leadership is again playing politics, it is reminiscent of how Malayan leaders like Tunku tricked/coaxed Sabah and Sarawak to form Malaysia in 1963 with all kinds of sweet promises, ..empty promises... Why Anwar did not honour his words is for us to further examine this crafty man...

Well nothing new came from PKR defacto leader, Anwar Ibrahim, while he was in KK town (Nov 21 & 22) for various meetings. He avoided talking on specifics about Borneonisation and special treatment from future PKR-led federal government. He spoke at length on promoting multi-racial politics though... So for those who want to hear him say or examine him (like me) on East Malaysian matters, its has been a frustrating days... Snake ..

Today Nov 16, I read with amusement Marican, CEO of Petronas outburst on the proposed gas pipeline from Kimanis to Bintulu. He claimed the petrochemical plant in Kimanis was approved in 2006 and that Sabah Government was very much involved in discussions. He mentioned CM Musa meeting with him and the PM and DPM. But how come Bernard Dompok and other State Ministers didn't know the plant is approved?? Or was it only CM Musa Aman involved ? Btw there are rumours going around that Dompok turnaround in suddenly supporting the gas pipeline has to do with projects... Dengar-dengar orangnya dapat projek RM60 juta menimbus tanah di Kimanis. I am not sure.. On top of that Dompok was assured of more "participations" in the project so faham-fahamlah kan... (it was drizzling in kk today's afternoon)

Today (Nov 15) someone forwarded me an sms purportedly from Dr Jeffrey to Haji Ansari which reads as follow: "Good morng hj, i understand that there will b a BPN (means badan perhubungan negeri) mtg this Saturday the 15hb (means today) though i have yet to be informed. Since i am committed to a program in Sibu that day (heard Anwar goes there too to receive thousands of Dayaks to PKR??) i will send my Setiausaha Bahagian to attend. Pls do me a favor by announcing my desire to remove my name frm the list of potential candidates 4 Pensiangan byelection. I dont want to be a reason 4 Danny (Andipai) to create any party problems. Let him satisfy his desires and ambition whatever they may b. Let dr edwin (Bosi) also satisfy his desire to be the pengarah pilihanraya. Let there be no more reason 4 squabbles and backstabbing. The party' success is far more important than i. If, however, danny cant handle it then that's another story. wslm n God bless. Dj cc KU, Pres, TP, SUA, SUP, CL, AAS, DJJ, HAT .... Very recently, Malaysian Health Minister, Liong exposed that the 8-storey tower building of Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) in Kota Kinabalu have enlarging cracks and its structure was compromised and so it was unsafe and would be evacuated. It is not cheap to relocate a whole hospital! What caused the cracks? Some said the tower is already starting to tilt to one end?? I noticed that adjacent to the tower was a new QEH block to be built.. part of the small hill on which the tower sits, was cut and dug long time ago, years ago but how come it was left exposed just like that for years?? Could this have contributed to the cracks? as cracks seem to be more visible at this part of the end of the tower near to the dug area?? Some said the QEH contractor is the same that built the mini Putrajaya next to UMS in Likas? I am not sure. If you don't know yet, the mini Putrajaya is famous for its falling off tiles.. everywhere tiles droped off, and in the end taxpayers were forced to bill the retiling of the whole mini Putrajaya buildings! I could smell big scandal here... couldn't you ?

Today ( Nov 2nd, 2008 ) Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) held its 23rd Annual Congress in Hongkod Koisaan. I went there to observe for about two hours, and I can deduce from the delegates reps speeches, that their members are petitioning the party leadership to relook and reflect on the Party's position within BN and their style of leadership all this years. They were short of asking the party to rejuvenate, to revitalise amidst downtrend of support at the grassroots level. One delegate from Tandek who represent PBS' central Youth Movement, Christopher Mandut, said "if the leadership choses not to listen but instead punish whistleblowers, PBS will one day end up with leaders who just say yes or kow-tow..." I think the writing is on the wall for PBS if it fails to listen and revitalise itself...

What a shame to ball-less Sabahan Barisan Nasional MPs !! When it came for them to put a signature on an important notice calling for Parliament to a review the draconian law - Internal Security Act (ISA), no Sabahan BN MPs, not even from the always cry-foul UPKO !! My hat off to the only BN MP who got balls.. Hulu Rejang MP Billy Abit Joo of PRS, you really brave man. Keep up the spirit. Hope it was not a fluke that MP Billy signed the Opposition petition though...

Today ( Oct 25, 2008 ) yet another UMNO guy in the name of Mukriz Mahathir issued a statement that money politics will surely destroy the Malay party, UMNO. Well it seems everybody in that Party now realised their party is being destroyed by corrrupt acts and money politics. Wonder what they will do to save UMNO... ( btw, it is raining the whole day in KK )

Today, Oct 21st, two poor litanies in the local papers caught my eyes: Rais Yatim of UMNO lamenting over money politics killing UMNO, the Malay Party; and Joseph Pairin Kitingan telling the world that PBS was bullied by UMNO during Dr Mahathir Mohamad time...

What was supposed to be a Clarence Bongkos Malakun versus Joseph Pairin Kitingan for the KDCA Presidency at KDCA triennial meeting in Hongkod Koisaan yesterday (Oct 12), fizzled out when Bongkos backed off. And, so once again Pairin, the Huguan Siou, is retained as KDCA President. He has been at the helm for more than 30 years now... As expected Dr Maximus Ongkili (379 votes) and Dr Jeffrey Kitingan (358 votes) won the two slots of deputy president, edging Patrick Sindu (98 votes) and Dr Saiman Sandah (92 votes). The six who won the posts of vice president were James Bagah, Dr Azlina Ekat, Dr Lungkiam Dambul, Jornah Mozihim, Rayner Udong and John Chriso Masabal... Jeneral Ken was a delegate...

Today (Oct 8, 2008) PM Abdullah Badawi announced he is not defending his UMNO Presidency and instead would hand it, together with his PM post, in March over to his deputy Najib Razak...

Hi, a friend of Mozes Iking came out from sunset mass in Kuala Lumpur St. John Church, September 27, 2008, but caught in the midst of about 10,000 Hindu Action Fronts (HINDRAF) protestors who swarmed the area near Masjid Jamek and nearby streets, protesting the continued usage of draconian law Internal Security Act (ISA) to keep critics (politicians, bloggers, NGOs) shut. Now this is a live show of daring Indians and Chinese going against the discriminatory and corrupt-infested UMNO-led government. With the exposure of YB Elizabeth Wong's nude pictures, as part of a plan to teardown Pakatan Rakyat stategovernments in Semenanjung, there will be more to come ! Don't be surprised exonorating pictures of leaders both from PR and Barisan Nasional will surface, mostly in the website in the forms of email and blogs... time to know more.. Haha ive heard of an UMNO top leader with a Malay artist while in Tawau years ago. The singer didn't have a function in Tawau then but was around when the .... was around in a hotel.. hehe

Yesterday (January 15, 2009) the Court in KK again postponed announcing its verdict on Joseph Kurup's appeal against the nullification of Pensiangan March election result, of which Kurup was declared winner unopposed. Now i have this reading: If this postponement has to do with the 17th Jan Kuala Trengganu by-election, this indicates that Kurup's appeal is most likely being struck out... The Judge might have been told to postpone an unfavourable verdict now so as not to jeopardise Barisan Nasional's chance in the KT by-election tommorow...

Hi! It seem nowadays every Sabah politicians wanting to jump onto the hit-KL wagon for the so-called perennial problems haunting Sabahans for decades (illegal immigrants from the Philippines, Indon, and Pakisetan; dubious citizenship; KL dominating Sabah etc you name it...). Even some UMNO politicians, like Salleh Said, now suddenly started whispering the same "voice" as what Dr Jeffrey Kitingan had been doing since time immemorial. Ha, ini tidak lain tidak bukan hanyalah mahu sambung nyawa sebagai ketua politik!! Puii! (politicians certainly know when to hit the iron, while it is hot). Jeneral Ken certainly is not attracted to SEASONAL freedom fighters! You know what i mean... he, he, he.

In the coming years or in the next general election, THERE IS NO WAY Peninsular-based party like PKR or DAP, would be allowed by Sabahans to grab all 60 State Seats or all 25 Parliamentary Seats. PKR or DAP, or Pakatan Rakyat for that matter, MUST sit down and talk to Sabah-based parties, well if they want to defeat the UMNO-led BN Coalition. On the future of PKR in Sabah? Jeneral Ken has this reading: "It all depends on how Anwar Ibrahim and PKR KL leaders BEHAVE on Sabah and Sarawak matters!! Plus, it depends on which school of thoughts dominating PKR Sabah, whether the "cium tangan" group or the "freedom fighters" group... He, he, he..." (It is drizzling in Kota Kinabalu today October 5, 2008)

Today (September 21, 2008), Raymond Tan Shu Kiah, the self-sacking deputy president of BN-leaving SAPP, revealed that PM Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, in fact PLANNED to arrest SAPP President Yong Teck Lee for corruption soon after Yong said his SAPP would move a Parliament motion of vote of no confidence against the PM! And that Raymond (now under fire for not going along with Yong quitting BN) claimed he pleaded to Abdullah then not to arrest his former boss Yong. What a REVELATION!! Now this coming from the mouth of BN man Raymond, this clearly shows the rot of the ruling UMNO-led BN! BEWARE presidents, ministers, politicians and NGOs - you could get yourself arrested for non-related charge if you go against the leadership of BN...
